Every Tuesday from the 25th November, the Fontella boys will host a special Supper Club event, each week exploring a different theme and welcoming talented guests chefs into the kitchen. Expect one-off menus, creative collaborations and a proper night of good food and wine.

BRITISH ITALIAN WITH INNES FAIRLEY

Innes first started cooking in Bristol having moved south after school from Holmefirth, Huddersfield. After a couple of different restaurants he found his feet at Gambas, a Spanish rooted seafood restaurant. In search of new opportunities he moved to London to continue his work as a chef, settling at Trullo. Working alongside each other for over a year at the North London Trattoria, Innes and George (Fontella) became close friends, working hard, eating very well and making the most of the time spent outside of the kitchen.

Now Sous chef at Clipstone in Fitzrovia, Innes continues to focus on this seasonally rooted, ingredient led cooking that has become the model for some of the best and most enjoyable restaurants in London. Following their shared experiences at Trullo, and inspiration from other kitchens, Innes and Fontella hope to showcase the modern neighbourhood restaurant with an extra Italian touch. Top quality seasonal ingredients, well considered combinations and a respect for process all fundamental to Italian cuisine will be blended with British foods. Expect an evening of good food and hopefully one or two Negronis. A belter.​​​​​​​​​​
